About Us

Note: This website is not directly affiliated Frontier 4x4 Club. However, we promote them and share infomration about them and many other clubs from around Montana (and sometimes out of state clubs too).  For more information on any of these clubs, it is best to contact them directly.

Frontier 4x4 Club

Officially named Frontier 4-Wheelers, we are more commonly know by our dba: Frontier 4x4 Club. We are a family and kid friendly 4x4 club that enjoyed off-roading. We typically hold at least one weekend trail ride a month, usually on Saturdays, but Sundays are not uncommon.

Our regular meeting location for trail rides is in the parking lot at Murdoch's/McDonald's at Montana and Custer avenues. See our Facebook page or contact one of our officers for information on our next trail ride.

Trail rides and other events are announced on the Frontier 4x4 Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/Frontier4Wheelers

Everyone with a high-clearance 4x4 is welcome. Please bring a vehicle in good working condition (it does not have to look good. haha) with tow hooks front and rear and a spare tire, along with your personal gear, lunch and appropriate attire.  In the long run you should also have your own recovery gear (see "required equipment" link below) but we can share with new folks until they know more abort what they should have.

Remember, this is Montana and even in the middle of summer we may be wheeling in the snow! We have been snowed on even in August.

Fire extinguishers and Business Band radios (or CB Radios) are encouraged. Speak to a club officer for more information on the radios we use.

Club meetings are held the first Wednesday of the month, 7pm, at the Pizza Ranch, 3200 N Sanders St, in Helena . We will be in a meeting room in the back, across from the game room.

Club dues are $50/yr, due in January. You must attend two consecutive meetings and one club trail ride before you are eligible to join. Membership is by a majority vote of the current members in good standing.

Helena, Montana's Frontier 4-Wheelers (DBA: Frontier 4x4 Club) was incorporated as a 501c(4) non-profit, in Montana, on 06/17/1974. Froster 4x4 Club is a member of the Montana 4x4 Association and the United Four Wheel Drive Association.

The 2024 Officers are:
